San Jose Jazz Summer Fest

22nd annual San Jose Jazz Summer Fest in downtown San Jose including jazz, blues, salsa and more. The Jazz Fest features events from brunch to jazz mass and youth bands to DRUM! night.  The festival comprises 10 stages and a club crawl all within walking distance in downtown San Jose. The main stage is located at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park.  Tickets also include free admission to the Tech Museum galleries.

Friday: 5 pm - 1 am (Saturday); Saturday 10 am - 1 am (Sunday); Sunday 10 am - 9 pm

Tickets: Adults $15 (Friday); $20 (Saturday and Sunday); tickets are per person, per day.
Kids 12 and under free.

Discounts & Special Offers

San Jose Jazz Membership: memberships start at $80 per person and include FREE admission to the Fest.  If you attending all three days, Celebrate-Family.com suggests purchasing a membership. The difference is $25 ($55 versus $80).

Best Bets for Families and Children

The A's Next Gen Stage (Tech Museum) which features youth jazz bands.  Saturday and Sunday 3 pm (for ages 8 to 12) and 4 pm (for ages 3 to 7) each day


Main  Stage (Plaza de Cesar Chavez)  Bring a blanket and make yourself comfortable.  It if is a hot day, bring a change of clothing for the children who will not be able to resist the fountain in the center of the park. Note:  The fountain may or may not be working.  


The Tech Museum: Free admission to the galleries is included with your ticket to the festival.  The Tech Museum will host a special music-themed scavenger hunt as part of the Jazz Fest program.
