SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) was the first museum on the West Coast devoted to modern and contemporary art. Families will especially enjoy the Family Day activities the first and third Sundays of each month and the Koret Visitor Education Center.

The Museum is closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We close at 4:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. And at 3:45 on January 15, 2010.
