Enjoy five weekends of fun as you travel back to Elizabethan England for the Northern California Renaissance Faire. The streets and stages boast music and dance from traditional Morris and English Country, to Celtic and Gypsy Tribal. Swashbuckling sword fighters render women defenseless with their charm and skill. Kids will have a great time at the Joust, Equine Show and various stages.
Besides the seven stages filled with entertainment each weekend there will be the ever popular Joust at 12 pm and 3 pm daily, a Celtic Rock concert series on Saturdays at 6 pm, and theme characters such as Queen Elizabeth I, Sir Frances Drake and William Shakespeare. There is a lot going on, but the lay out of the stages and events is such that it is easy to navigate the Faire (click here to view a Faire map). Celebrate-
Family activities will include the Funny Farm Petting Zoo ($4), Suspended Reality acrobatics, The Magic of Bosch, and story telling at the Storybook Stage. The Pirate Invasion Weekend (September 27th & 28th) with the annual kids pirate costume contest; Fantasy Weekend (October 11th & 12th) when fairies will abound.
