Enjoy five weekends of fun as you travel back to Elizabethan England for the Northern California Renaissance Faire. The streets and stages boast music and dance from traditional Morris and English Country, to Celtic and Gypsy Tribal. Swashbuckling sword fighters render women defenseless with their charm and skill. Kids will have a great time at the Joust, Equine Show and the Enchanted Garden in addition to vaious stages of fun and revelry.
Stages will be filled with entertainment each weekend such as the Silk Road Caravan, Manly Men in Tights and MooNie and Broon Finale. Then there is the ever popular Joust at 12 pm and 3 pm daily; a Celtic Rock concert on Saturdays at 6 pm; and theme characters such as Queen Elizabeth I, Sir Frances Drake and William Shakespeare. There is a lot going on, but the lay out of the stages and events is such that it is easy to navigate the Faire.
Family activities will include the Magnificent Humble Boys presenting the world's greatest Russian circus; the Enchanted Garden (new for 2012!); the Pirate Invasion Weekend (September 22nd & 23rd) with the annual kids pirate costume contest; Fantasy Weekend (October 13th & 14th) when fairies will abound; and The Piccolo Puppet Players presenting "The Punch & Judy Show". Other kid’s standard favorites are The Bubble Lady, Reptile Petting Zoo, and The Funny Farm Petting Zoo. These activities cost $3-
Each weekend will feature a different theme and musical artist for the free Saturday evening concert.
