The Barnum Award presented by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey
The Barnum Award was created to honor and celebrate children who give back to their communities in creative, innovative ways by supporting their future community service activities. Recipients are recognized for the significant difference they have made or is making to the quality of life in his or her community. The contest is open to all kids ages 6 - 14 (as of April 1, 2010) . Deadline for nominations is August 6, 2010.

Show city/venue nearest to where the Nominee lives

Nominator’s date of birth (must be 21 years of age or older) , full name, address, city, zip code, phone number and email address.

|
Nominee’s first name (of the child you are nominating), his or her parent or legal guardian’s email address.
|
Nominators will be required to answer the 4 short questions about their Nominee’s community service activities, describing how their Nominee demonstrated innovation, creativity, extraordinary service in time, effort and results for his or her cause that made
or is making a difference to the quality of life in his or her community. The community service activities must have occurred within the last twelve (12) months.
Three winners in the Bay area will receive the following prizes:
Gold- $1,000 to fund future community service endeavors and a gold-finish Barnum Award.
Silver - $750 to fund future community service endeavors and a silver-finish Barnum Award.
Bronze - $500 to fund future community service endeavors and a bronze-finish Barnum Award.
Additionally, all three award recipients will be honored at a pre-show award ceremony during the opening night performance of The Greatest Show On Earth in the show city/venue selected on the Nomination.
